A Unique Opportunity in Aviation Training

The Aviation Business Diploma Program (ABD) at the College of New Caledonia (CNC) Vanderhoof Campus is now taking applications for the class commencing in September of 2011. The program offers students with an aviation career objective a unique opportunity to study the combined disciplines of aviation and business.

The program centers around a PilotPlus approach to providing a supply of pilots to Canada's northern air carrier industry. It is a five semester program running over 24 months, with a four month break between semesters 2 and 3. The program includes all training for both the Private and Commercial pilot licenses and float rating, as well as 13 university level business courses that add the Plus to the men and women who leave our program to begin their aviation careers.

A maximum of 24 students will be accepted for the September, 2011 class. All candidates must meet the admission requirements for the program, undergo an initial Pilot Aptitude Screening Test, and provide three references.

CNC, and Guardian Aerospace Holdings Inc, our partner supplier of all flying training, look forward to hearing from all interested applicants and to working with you in this first and most important phase of launching your aviation career.
